Research Description:
The Chabinyc Research Group is broadly focused on the study of functional thin film materials. These thin film semiconductors are used in electronic devices such as transistors, solar cells, and thermoelectrics. Our group studies both organic and inorganic semiconducting materials using a combination of physical characterization methods to elucidate their electronic and structural properties. Additional areas of interest include functional polymers for sensing and actuation.
