UCSB Materials professor Craig Hawker will receive the 2017 Charles G. Overberger International Prize for Excellence in Polymer Research from the American Chemical Society. This is a biennial award that recognizes and encourages accomplishments of unusual merit in the field of basic or applied polymer science.  The award, presented biennially, can be given to a scientist from anywhere in the world.
